i stumbled across Bergdoff Goodman today

what rich folk won't do to throw away their money.
i'm still trying to figure out what makes designer clothes any different (other than their occasionally ridiculous extremes of uselessness) than something nice normal people might find at a decent shop, or for mercy sake, make on their own.

once upon a time the idle rich knew how to stitch, and knit, and decorate their own bonnets. now, apparently, they're too lazy (or stupid) even for that.
